Nikon PB-6 with reversing ring and reversed 55 mm f/2.8 micro Nikkor. 1 SB-200 strobe with su-800 control unit.

If history repeats itself, I will not be able to keep up with all the comments. I would like to thank all who look, fav or comment on this photo.
I would also like to thank Hellfirediva for the DD. Her gallery just knocked me over. She does the type photography I hope to be doing in a year or two or maybe more!

Such a beautiful shot, nice vivid colours and if you don't mind my asking, is this ladybird a local species ? I've just never seen one without spots XD x

No, I think this is a species brought in to the US by the DoA. It's an Asian Lady bug. They come in a wide range of shades of red to orange. We have very few of the spotted ladybugs.
