It's not really that much better. So far I've used the content aware fill with mixed success. I tend to use plugin filters as shortcuts. I especially like Nik Color Efex Pro complete and Photokit Sharpener. I do a lot of layer work, but most of the things I do with CS5 I could do with CS4. I'm waiting for a book on CS5 and ACR6 to see what it can really do. I haven't been doing much photo work lately; business is slow. I also bought Lightroom 3. I get all these at a good discount, I'm not rich. I have several patents(EU and US) in the digital printing area for my old company and still have some contacts left. I also belonged to the National Association of Photoshop Professionals for the last 10 years and get some really good discounts through them.
Aa OK, Yes it needs time to get to now a new part of a program. I hope you will have a lot of fun with CS5. Yes a book can be very helpful. It is really great to have several different programs to work with. It is great that you still have contacts and can get these programs with a good discount. This way it is more affordable.
