You take believable pictures, looks like he is hoovering in an aurora.

Hard to believe, but true; these shots are planned. I am 3.9 ft from the bird shooting wide open w/o a flash. There is no DoF and the purple colors are flowers in the background. The green gorget is the due to the angle of the sun relative to the bird. This is an 'as is' photo and quite believable to me.

Forgive me I meant unbelievable pictures I am not sure how that came out as believable forgive me for that typo. I honestly did not mean that to be insulting but a compliment, I really am inspired by your shots. If I hadn't had that typo I still never would of guessed it was possible to plan it out and get such a lovely background like that by altering the lighting, that just makes it even more incredible, you are an amazing photographer to understand utilizing studio lights and taking advantage of your surroundings to blend that colors for an effect like that.

forgive me about that typo I think all your pictures are amazing and unbelievable as he looks like he was taken right in front of say the northern lights. that was what I originally meant.
