The 1/250 shutter speed is the highest sync on the 7D. The actual shutter speed is dictated by the setting on the strobes. I don't remember the actual strobe power, but looking at the photo I'd say it was about 1/8 seconds. That's about 1/10,000 seconds. Check this link if you're interested<[link]>
